We have a Habitat Leather sofa in black that needs a new home.

It is in good condition, the leather has some signs of wear, but not bad at all.

It is unique though. At one point, one of the legs broke from the base. It has been fixed properly so the sofa is not weakened in anyway.
You can, if you are observant, see where it was repaired as one leg is set back further than it's partner.

It's comfortable and has lots of life left in it. We are only getting rid of it as we need the space.

Any recommendations for a joiner / roofer? I'm in process of buying a house and the current owner thought about getting a loft conversion in the attic so put flooring down and at the same time the joiner removed some of the 45 degree struts, and didn't put in any replacement support. Tese need to be put back into prevent the roof from sagging (it hasn't sagged to date, but surveyor recommended this is looked as). I'm looking for someone who can go out and do a quote (I'll pay!) and be able to help do the work as soon as possible.

Recommendations for reliable joiners who know what they're talking about much appreciated!

Thank you in advance

If you're thinking about using a local letting agent to manage your property for you be very, very careful..... Do go with a larger, well-known agency rather than smaller ones..
If anything rings tiny little alarm bells walk away!!
For instance, if the main door to their office has a security lock so you can't walk in or out without being buzzed!!

I gave my flat to a property agent on the Queens Road called Purcell. They had it for 6 months and quite cleverly managed to pay me no rent...not even the deposit money... when I contacted the police, the police told me that my address had been used as a distribution centre for illegal pirate pornographic dvds... My flat had been raided by the police (during the 6month tenure without my knowledge) and instead of the nice Chinese family I had been told had moved in, they found 20 Chinese men there.. including wanted criminals...and 20,000 pirate dvds

so, in short, when you pay an agent to manage your property you might expect them to collect & give you the rent money, reference-check the tenants and give the flat back to you in a similar condition to that which you left it with them...
Don't have these expectations if u go with an agency like Purcell..

(I would be interested on hearing from others who have had similar experiences.. FACT (the Federation Against Copyright Theft - the guys who investigate the piracy gangs) say there are many property agents in the area who collude with gangs to provide them with buildings to use...I'm gathering evidence and I have written to Harriet Harman MP and our local councillors to ask them what they are doing about the problem...)

Ran the fuel tank dry and it started to run at about 70% power, stalls and wont idle.
Suspected dirty plugs or air filter, checked and changed these to no avail.
Now I suspect it's the fuel injection that is the problem... bit beyond me..
So need a garage / mechanic nearby that you've had good experiences with..
